My name is Lisa Cromarty and I am an actor and voice coach residing in Northern Ontario and I’m writing to share some exciting news. I will be hosting free beginner acting workshops that are taking place in downtown Sudbury this October 12-18, 2026. I am joined by Text Coach Tim Welham from the Stratford Theatre Festival as well as improv coach Scott Florence of oddhawks, a local improv troupe to Sudbury.

Together we will be facilitating sessions throughout the week that accommodate both day and evening schedules. In each session participants will take a Shakespeare Text Study class with Tim, a Voice for the Actor class with Lisa and an improv class with Scott over a 3.5-4 hour period. These are very beginner friendly, new actor classes so all are welcome!

Sessions do have a cap on participants so if you plan on attending, please register as soon as you can!
